Our first surgery will open in Arusha Tanzania at the end of 2009. Arusha is the gateway to Internationally renowned game parks like the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Massai Mara. The largest freestanding mountain in Africa " Mount Kilimanjaro" lies in the Arusha-Moshi region and receives thousands of climbers every year. In association with our sister company Fay Safaris Ltd Tanzania we are now offering you what we like to call " Dental Safari". Here's a typical itinerary for this program

Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by our driver and transferred to Arusha to your preferred Hotel.

Day 2: Early morning consultation at the Dental Surgery to discuss your case and treatment planning. Leave for Arusha National Park with picnic lunch at 9.00 AM with your driver guide in a specially designed Land Cruiser 4x4 Safari vehicle. A walking safari in the park with a Ranger is part of this trip. Return to your hotel by 6pm at leisure for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Day reserved for start of major Dental Treatment. Most treatments like crowns/bridges/ root canals/ fillings and whitening are done on this day. Appointment will last for a maximum of 2- 3hours. In case of crown and bridge this day will serve as the 1st appointment where teeth are prepared and impressions taken to be sent to the lab for fabrication of porcelain teeth. During your 2nd appointment which is typically 3-5 days later your work will be completed during the 2nd sitting. For patients needing Implants and Dentures a second day will be reserved for dental treatment before you proceed on safari.
